Chicken katsu curry instructions

  1. Cuci bersih ayam, lumuri dengan jeruk nipis, lalu tambahkan garam, lada bubuk, dan bawang putih bubuk, simpan di kulkas sambil menyiapkan bahan lain.

  2. Siapkan 3 piring terpisah. Piring pertama campurkan terigu, garam, lada bubuk, dan kaldu ayam bubuk aduk hingga merata.

  4. Piring ketiga siapkan tepung roti.

  5. Iris tipis bawang bombay, potong dadu kentang, potong dadu wortel, sisihkan.

  6. Siapkan wajan untuk menumis, tambahkan sedikit minyak goreng lalu masukkan bawang bombay, tumis sampai harum dan layu.

  7. Setelah bawang bombay layu, tambahkan air, wortel, dan kentang tunggu hingga air mendidih lalu tambahkan bubuk kari aduk sampai air berkurang.

  8. Setelah air berkurang, tambahkan larutan maizena sedikit demi sedikit agar kari kental, hati hati jangan sampai kari terlalu kental.

  9. Setelah kari mengental tambahkan garam, kaldu ayam bubuk secukupnya.

  10. Ambil ayam di kulkas lalu geprek2 ayam mentah sampai permukaan agak memipih.

  11. Gulingkan ayam dalam tepung sampai semua bagian menempel pada tepung, lalu tepuk agar tepung tidak menempel terlalu banyak.

  12. Gulingkan ayam pada telur yg telah dikocok lepas, pastikan semua bagian terbalut telur.

  13. Gulingkan ayam pada tepung roti, pastikan semua bagian ayam tertempel tepung roti agar hasil cantik.

  14. Goreng ayam dengan api sedang sampai matang, tiriskan lalu potong2 chicken katsu.

  15. Sajikan chicken katsu dengan bumbu kari.
